Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is a water-soluble vitamin, which influences numerous processes in the human body and also plays a role in our energy metabolism, nervous system and our psyche.

Vitamin B12 reduces the signs of tiredness and fatigue and supports the normal functioning of the immune system. It also supports normal homocysteine metabolism and together with folic acid, it can convert homocysteine into the essential amino acid L-methionine.

However, because reasonable quantities of this vitamin are only found in food of animal origin, strict vegetarians and vegans in particular have to ensure a sufficient supply of this important vitamin. Biogena Vitamin B12 can support the daily intake of cobalamin and balance low intake through the daily nutrition.

Ingredients
Bulking agent: cellulose powder, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule shell), hydroxocobalamin.

Food supplements: The recommended daily intake must not be exceeded.

Important note: The product vitamin B12 currently has a stronger pink colour than previous batches. Responsible for this color difference is the raw material hydroxycobalamin, which can have a color from cream to reddish. This has no effect on the quality of the product, it is a purely optical difference which is easily recognisable through the transparent capsule shell (as of 29.01.2019).
