PERIO-AID Active Control Mouthwash
Perio Aid Active Control is a low dose antiseptic containing 0.05% chlorhexidine combined with 0.05% cetylpyridinium chloride, which controls periodontal and peri-implant disease recurrence, mainly in non-compliant patients, and with minimal side effects.
Formulation contains:
- 0,05% CHLORHEXIDINE DIGLUCONATE
- 0,05% CETYLPYRIDINIUM CHLORIDE

Daily use oral antiseptic for controlling recurrence after the periodontal treatment phase

For before and after in-office dental care

For cases of excessive dental plaque formation (oral biofilm)

When proper brushing and oral hygiene are not possible

HOW TO USE
Rinse for 30 seconds with 15 ml, 2 times per day (morning and night), after brushing.
Can be used continuously for up to 6 months.
Do not swallow.
Warning:
It is not advisable to rinse with water or eat food immediately after using Perio·Aid®Active Control mouthwash, as this may enhance its bitter flavour.

INDICATIONS
Intended for continuous use during long periods of up to 6 months in:
- Periodontal and peri-implant maintenance, following treatment phase
- Patients with high susceptibility for periodontitis
- Patients with poor plaque control; non-compliant patients
- Patients with difficulty performing mechanical oral hygiene due to physical and/or mental disabilities.
- Patients wearing braces with poor plaque control
- Patients at high risk for caries, root caries and polycaries
- Aphthous ulcers
